Media Specialist
Hobbies: I like learning new technology and I love to cook.
College: Got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University and got a Masters in Library and Informational Studies from UNCG.
I taught science and math; 7th and 8th grade when I lived in SC. When I moved to NC, I was interested in working in a library. I took a job as the Media Services technology instructor and went to school at the same time to get my masters. After receiving my masters, I missed working with students. I decided to become a Librarian because it is my delight to assist students with research, print and online as well as assisting staff with resources and information to complement their instruction. I also enjoy the daily aspect of my job that deals with technology and workroom machinery.
